Besides all the theme parks & resturants with fresh seafood, head out to the back of GC to Hinterlands where you gets local foods, great stays & plenty of waterfall's in rain forests as well as horse riding & wellbeing places. And don't always head down the motorway, there are many back roads that are better in peak hours (Palm Beach is renowed for traffic jam's on M1). Visit the man on the bike, get'fresh grown and made herbal products from "The Herbal Gardener", visit mudbrick cottage for unusual herbs to grow. Nerang has horse riding in the valley. Afternoon tea at 'Bonappetea' or "Videre Restaurant High Tea" Benowa. And the famous "Harbour Town" where you get to buy top label clothes, shoe's, bedding, kitchenware, bags etc being an discount outlet (I love Peter Alexanders PJ's), Biggera Waters. And for the 2nd hand/recycle hit the "Tip Shop" for amazing bargain's, you will find grandmar's cookbooks & classwears to latest furniture, office supplies, stationary, plants, pots, house renovation item's some items brand new from shops that have closed...

So much to do, my wife and I have now made it our Go To destination for our yearly holiday in October and this year we have started taking random weekend getaways to the GC, I'm 55 and my wife is 42, we are still young enough to enjoy the nightlife in Surfers paradise and enjoy all of the daytime activity options the Gold Coast has to offer.

The Gold Coast is just beautiful, relaxed & friendly.

The Gold Coast is just beautiful, relaxed & friendly. We stayed at The Iconic in Kirra Beach, which was super handy for the FISHER concert at Coolangatta - KIWI'S Love FISHER! The food at Siblings was not just good, it was outstanding! It is a culinary experience not to be missed. The love Street Cafe - the line out the door is worth the wait - the food is wholesome and delicious! We visited the Pacific Fair - well laid out, with great shops & excellent food. Burleigh Pavilion is not just a place to drink and eat, it's a vibrant hub where you can mingle while overlooking the surf-break. Kira & Kira Furniture Store in Burleigh Heads is the store to be noticed. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the stock quality is fabulous, including the one-off pieces and unique artwork. They have a design team to help with the complete set-up of your home and more!

    The location of Broadbeach.

The location of Broadbeach. Walking distance to conveniences and public transportation was important because I'm not driving. There is a car park and a bike rack in the lower level if needed. Any issues were met with prompt attention. The light rail was further away than I thought, but unless you wanted to go to town centers, the bus stop around the corner took me where I wanted to go, like Seaworld.

This hotel is located in central Gold Coast, only a short 5min walk to the beach and surrounding Soul boardwalk (a strip of dining, shopping and attractions). Driving to and from places, like the theme parks, was also very convenient and with the Bruce Bishop car park ($50/week) right behind the hotel made for easy commuting. The room was very spacious, together with a small kitchenette and balcony (with a good view). The bed was super comfy and the pillows had the right level of 'density' (not too hard, not too soft).

The location was stunning. Value for money was hard to believe. We were looking for a cheap motel to stay at for our two days at the theme parks but fluked out finding the hotel at a cheaper rate then other motels. Room was huge, clean beds super comfy and super quiet quiet. It also had a 5* view facing the marina and the kids thought we were millionaires coming into that huge shiny foyer. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Wifi was provided on request. Breakfast was a bonus. And had all you expect for continental.

I loved Gold Coast Inn it was very clean, comfortable and central location... the tram is directly across the road or a very easy beach front walk to Broadbeach central for shopping, restaurants, surf club and beach Also directly across the road to the Crown Hotel for the revolving restaurant . Antonio the manager of Gold Coast Inn went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and was so friendly and helpful ...nothing was a problem. Thank You so much !! A great hotel with great pool facilities for the entire family. Buffet breakfast was fabulous for the kids with plenty of variety. All the staff members except one were fantastic, particularly Christian at the concierge and Michael, the manager. The room was nicely presented with great facilities. Comfortable bed with clean sheets. The whole hotel smelled lovely and the doormen were superbly attentive and polite. I definitely recommend their high tea and dining at their restaurants.

The room was quiet large and very comfortable with an excellent view of the runway next door. It is a 1 minute walk to the terminal and 2 minute walk to the bus stop that will take you along the coast to neighbouring towns. There were multiple restaurants in the hotel but also some cheaper options within walking distance. they also give you the option to extend your stay by the hour if needed. It was also very quiet despite its location. Highly recommend if you’re flying out!

Great place to stay for a family with 2 kids. The photos don't do this place justice at all. Views were phenomenal. I typically stayed at 5 star hotels when I travel so I was very close to cancelling. Fortunately, I didn't. It was spacious and the furniture was perfect for my 11 month old to crawl around and explore the whole place. Walking distance to play grounds and great restaurants. The added free extras such as baby cot and high chair was very much appreciated.

Fantastic value for money. Great view, clean and spacious units. Very helpful staff and great location.. Much better than our previous accommodation and was cheaper per night. Probably the best value accommodation we've stayed in, in a while. Had everything you needed for a comfortable stay and the 180 degree view from our unit could be enjoyed both inside and out. Thank you for a wonderful stay.. Will definitely stay here again when visiting the Gold Coast 🥰
