It was amazing throughout, the house is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the beds are so comfortable, there’s a lovely corner sofa in the lounge that you never want to leave, the kitchen is well stocked with every utensil ever invented! There’s a great outdoor space with seating and you can even hear a lovely stream if you open the window. Lily was kind enough to leave us some treats on our arrival and her comms were great throughout.

Idyllic location. If you are a walker on the Salt Path it is totally worth the extra stretch up the little hill. Beautiful house and surroundings but still with a sea view and lovely church (no bells!). Wake up the sounds of the countryside, fresh air and sumptuous smells of breakfast.

The room was a good size and the sofa beds were very comfortable. We have two teenage children and have the individual sofa beds were very good and much appreciated by them. The location was very good with amenities close by. The staff were helpful when we needed them.

The room we had was on the street side and was very noisy. Plus there is a building site down the road which was very noisy very early. Not your fault but I’m the local residents can’t be happy with that. Our hot water heater broke down so we had an evening and morning with no hot water. My husband was running the marathon and had to have a cold shower before he left early in the morning. The rest of the family were able to use another apartment to shower while it was fixed which was much appreciated but didn’t help my husband. The heated rails did not work either and the weather was very bad so we needed a way to dry our clothes. Someone did try and fix it but we never saw them get hot.

Had to move furniture to find the only PowerPoint in the room to share between three people. TV was so small and put on very small table. Bed mattresses were very old and uncomfortable sagged at the sides. Furniture was very old. Hotel. Ed’s a good facelift. Nowhere. Ear as good as advertised.
